About Mount Pleasant

 

Mt. Pleasant serves 250 students from Kindergarten through fifth grade. There are two classes of each grade level and a coordinated program made possible by the ideal size of the school.

 

Our school curriculum includes programs in art, band, chorus, general music, Spanish, library, physical education and health, basic skills instruction, speech, guidance, and Gifted and Talented. Our after school program, Club 21, provides enrichment for students in grades 4 and 5. Safety Patrol, Student Council, and school helpers are a few of the ways students are given opportunities to demonstrate leadership.

 

Other exciting activities that take place each year are, Fall Frolic, Variety Show, Pizza Bingo,  and Student Appreciation Day.
